Decorating Your Office Desk

Ever looked at your office desk and thought mehh..?! In my opinion in order to work hard your workspace needs to inspire you to do so. So after 'Googling' the crap out of how to decorate my work desk I went with something more me and took a few ideas from everything that I've seen to create a workspace that was more organised and suited me. See the pics below on how I recreated my workspace and all for under $10.

What you need to create this:
  1. A background that you like (I searched for Damask to get this awesome background)
  2. A few inspirational quotes & pictures
  3. Wooden pegs
  4. Velcro Dots
  5. Sellotape
  6. Blue Tac/Max Tac
  7. Coloured Card (Your choice of colour - I went with Pink)
How to create this:
  1. Find the background and print off enough to decorate the wall that you desire. (I used blue tac and sellotape to stick it to the wall so that if at some point it needs to come down there will be no damage to the wall) Printing for black & white costs about $0.07c per print so this makes it quite cheap.
  2. Once finished start organising where you need to hang items - like to do lists, things to order, reminders etc.
  3. Stick up your inspirational quotes and pictures - try and stick with your colour scheme.
  4. Velcro up your wooden pegs to hold up your to do lists and things to order etc. (To make the headings I found an awesome font at Urban Fonts)
And that is all, its is really easy! And think of how much more work you could get done!

I hope you enjoyed it, and I would love to see how you have decorated your desk too, so leave me a post with a pic :)
